Who we are
The Taraneh Orchestra was founded in August 2024 and held our first concert on the 1st February 2025. The new, Manchester-based ensemble that aims to provide opportunities for young professionals and music graduates in the North-West of England, as well as making classical music more accessible and welcoming to everyone. Our first concert could not have been without the brilliant hard work of the founding committee: Miluka Javadi-Anstey, Naomi Isaacs, Maya Jolliffe, Sarah Fore and Oscar Artacho-Esplugues.
We are now joined by Jacob Hartley as Publicity Manager, and are excited to announce that information on second concert will be released soon!
The orchestra’s future project plans include collaborations with other Manchester communities and outreach projects. We also aim to normalise and facilitate neurodiversity in the classical music and concert setting.
